Portraits on the beach are highly popular in my area, though my personal favorite is probably babies and weddings!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look closely at the photos they present. Are they crooked? Is the color pleasing? How's the lighting, you don't want photos with too dark shadows, and too bright highlights. A good photographer knows how to avoid that. Are they pictures sharp? A blurry picture is no good picture.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That us photographers spent a lot of time on each and every photo we capture, editing time can expand into days, not just hours. Communication between client and photographer is important, express what you want and need before the shoot. Exposure is important in this field, if you're happy with your photographer, spread the word!
