My mailbox post needed a "post lift." The bottom trim had become chipped due to weed eater abuse over the years. Thumbtack provided Randy's contact info on May 25 and I called for a quote, which I received and accepted on May 26. On May 27 Randy called to see if he could take care of the job the next morning. Randy showed up as promised, had the tools and materials he needed, and within perhaps 40 minutes the post had new trim.
Although I'd said on the initial request through Thumbtack that painting would not be necessary, before he left Randy painted the bare wood that he'd used to replace the old. Less than three days from initial request to completed job. Well done! Will call Randy again!

We needed the interior of our house painted. I filled out our needs with Thumbtack, which we had never used before, and received an immediate response from Randy Barnes. We set up an appointment for the following Monday. Randy was on time, very polite, and listened to our painting needs. While he was here, we inquired if he did power washing and other repairs and/or building. His estimate was extremely fair and he not only got all the painting done in a reasonable time frame, we added additional painting, power washing of two houses, all our concrete, & replaced the motor in our attic fan. He was extremely neat and cleaned up everyday. The only things we did were remove paintings, curtains and wall hangings. Randy moved furniture and took care not to scratch floors or drip paint. He is on our list to be the first to call when we need anything done around the house. He is also humble enough to give you the names of other people that have expertise in work that he doesn't do. He also calls or texts if he will be late (doctor's appt) which was once! He is our "Go To Guy" from now on! Hire Randy! You will not be sorry!

Randy is an excellent handyman and he communicated very well throughout the process. I appreciated it so much I asked him to do two other projects as well, and he gave me a very fair price for all three combined! I would highly recommend Randy to anyone who needs his skills!

He did painted 7 doors and 40 ft or so of railing and he did an excellent job. Very happy if I need anything else done I will hire him.
