I started training initially with JR and I now train with Nahjerrelle. I recommend both of these trainers, and from what I have observed of the other trainers in a gym any one of them would be a great choice. JR is customer service oriented and had a lot of patience sitting down and discussing my goals before we began to train. During training JR ensured I understood the exercises and why I was doing them, and the benefits they would have on my body. Nahjerrelle is also a great trainer he takes his time demonstrating exercises, does not rush you, and ensures your form is correct, all while encouraging you to put your best foot forward. My results so far have been invaluable both mentally and physically. You can't go wrong with Force Fitness.
My hubby and I were looking to get back in shape and found Maxfit personal training. We started working out with Kris over a month ago, and it has been one of the best decisions. Kris helped us understand what needs to be done and the personal workout sessions with him are so much fun! He motivates you to do your best and always pushes you to do cardio! We are already seeing positive results of our efforts with Kris and so encouraged by the guidance being provided by him. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to improve their physical fitness and be more active.
As a 40 year old working mom and mother of two girls (10 and 12), I finally decided in June of 2014 that I needed to invest in me so I could invest in my husband and kids. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2011 and had an MRI in 2013 which showed severe arthritis in my lower back so exercise hurt. In addition, I have an imbalance in my hip which causes pain and osteoarthritis in my right toe. The toe seems weird but when youre exercising, the toes are important! Just by looking at my ailments, I have a good case why exercising should be limited. I have spent the last 10 years working out at home to DVDs (I have to confess I purchased infomercial DVDs), trying the elliptical at our neighborhood gym and downloaded an app on my iPhone to count calories and nothing seemed to work. I would push through the pain, and take some ibuprofen after the work out so I could function. I would work hard for a month and the scale wouldnt move and I would give up. I hated to take pictures because I couldnt find enough shape wear to hide my body and there isnt shape wear for my face and neck! After years of trying to get fit on my own, I realized that isnt working. Sure, my friends would encourage me, but no one would take out a scale and tape measure and keep me in check; no one would ask me if I was watching what I ate. One Saturday morning I was sitting at the Laundromat cleaning my rugs when I saw the class next door jumping around on what looked like surfboards. They seemed to be having fun and one woman walked out after class and I asked her about it and she walked me inside to meet Victoria. The rest is history. Victoria has a process and a method and cares about what makes me tick. What seemed like a pain in the neck (food logs, satiety charts, energy, clarity and mood charts) was the first step to adjusting my thought process about food. Im Italian so I love all things Italian. I didnt think I could stay away from the foods I grew up eating but after watching my inflammation decrease, my sleep increase and my brain fog clear, I started to see things differently. I realized it was the food I was eating that caused the fog. For a few years I was worried about my mind going. I walked from one room to the other and forgot why I was in the room. After two weeks of food logs, I realized it was the FOOD causing the fog, not my mind going! (I still occasionally eat pasta but I know what it does to me!) Surfset was my first class and I love it! I enjoy the class sizes and the judgment free atmosphere. They could care less how crazy I look while exercising because no one else is watching me! Ive been to other gyms and nothing compares to this because its not a gym. Exercises are modified to work with my physical limitations so I never have an excuse. So far, I have lost 24 inches over my body and 13 pounds and have muscles I havent seen since I was a cheerleader and can hit the floor and do big boy pushups! I have had to alter clothes and when I went on a business trip a few weeks ago, people who havent seen me in a year asked me what I was doing because they saw a huge difference. Victoria is a diamond in the rough and Im addicted to the classes! I hate to miss for any reason! Im not where I want to be yet, but Im on the right path. If I dont have an excuse, you dont either!
I've currently been working with Chuck and he is fun and very informative. I can see a change in my strength and he's very prodcutive when it comes to workout plans! Not just running on the treadmill like most trainers, he actually gives you a full body workout every time.
I found Allen Branch on here and I'm very thankful I did! I love this gym! The trainers actually want you to succeed and you are not just a number to them. Everyone is very encouraging and positive. I am a true beginner trying to live a healthier lifestyle and I feel like they are with me every step of the way!! I HIGHLY recommend Fitness One!

Coach D began training me January 7, 2016. I feel like I am in the best shape that I have ever been in. I began lifting two days a week for 2 hours per day with integrated cardio. After 7 months, I went to 3 days a week, 1.5 to 2 hours a day with integrated cardio. I have lost weight, I have more energy and I feel better about me. I also was pre-diabetic and I have gone back to a normal A1C level. January 7, 2017 = 1 year. Recently I moved across the country and Coach D continues to train me virtually. I have taken Tyson's Circuit Training Class and Cardio Kickboxing Class and I can say that I got a great workout with both. I really appreciated the professionalism and one on one attention i received even though my classes were in a group setting. From modifiying my workout around a running injury to suggestions on how to improve my strength! Thank you Tyson.
I was trained by Mike back in 2013 needing to lose 20 lbs after a plateau. He was professional, easy to work with and made me feel at ease with weights and exciting cardio sessions. No session was ever the same which was great. One session I actually lost 4 lbs which was amazing to me. He also provided me with meal plan information. I have recommended him to friends. Great trainer and person as well.

I started training with Gordon in group class setting at my place of employment. My co-workers and I were challenged every session and provided nutritional information to help us reach our goals. Training with Gordon I was able to finally see results in my ongoing efforts to loose weight and get back in shape. This led to Personal Training with Gordon at his Studio where I was able to continue my journey to get back in the shape I was in 20 years ago. I told my son of my goal and he said "Mom you need to be realistic" well when he saw me last Easter I which I had taken a picture. I have lost 40+ pounds and have dropped 5 jean sizes. I continue to train with Gordon and utilize his studio to get my cardio done. He also runs some awesome classes/bootcamps. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to achieve results rather weight loss, getting in shape or both.
