Darin is wonderful! We were so lucky that Darin was so kind to squeeze our cabinet project into his busy schedule. He didn’t need to work with our tight timeline but he knew we’re were in a bind and we are so grateful that was was able to help! Our home had custom cabinets with too small of an area for a new fridge. He came up with several options for us to consider to open up the tight spot. He thought of every detail and even sketched it out so I could visualize it. He went above and beyond! He went out of his way to help us find the water line and installed one for us, altered the cabinets along the side and even raised the entire cabinet system up 3” so our new fridge would fit. He drywalled the back side and moved an outlet. It was perfect when he was done. He even worked til 1am just to finish in time before the fridge arrived. Such a genuine person with high quality work! We would definitely recommend him! Thank you Darin!!!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked for a home builder in high school. Then a lumber yard and started my own window repair business. Then I worked as a glazier installing commercial glass in commercial buildings and high end residences, as I ran a handyman business during nights and weekends. At 20, I started working for a wholesale distributor of building products. With this job, I learned about every building product on the residential market, while I handled and serviced over 120 lumber yards throughout Minnesota and Nebraska I received training on the installation of all the products DIRECT from the manufacturer, best training possible.
As I worked for the wholesaler, I also ran a cabinet and picture frame business, along with general remodeling. Then. I moved to Lincoln, to work on a Degree in Architecture through UNL, during which, I started my Remodeling business again, but here in Lincoln. In 18 years I've never advertised for work, and this is my first type of advertising. I thought it was a social network thing like LinkedIn. Now I'm just curious about how it works, so here I am.
