Our home was hit by a spring storm that unfortunately involved quarter-sized hail. After looking at some roofing companies online, having a few come out to my property to give me a quote, I ultimately chose Johnson Roofing. That decision was not based on price, as many offered to do the job at the cost my insurance was quoting me, but rather the promptness of their response and how comfortable I felt that Craig Hill with Johnson Roofing would take care of the repairs. Over the course of the next month, the roof got removed and replaced (working quickly over a day and a half) and the gutters and window flashing replaced (on a separate day). Throughout this time, Craig let me know what was going on at all steps in the process, and was very responsive to any concerns via phone or text. They handled the entire process with the insurance, even working on my behalf to get some additional damage covered that the insurance adjuster initially missed. In the end, I wasn't out any money, had a new roof on my house, and I didn't have to pull any hair out during the process.
Bottom Line: If you are in need of a new roof and don't know where to turn, my experience with Craig at Johnson Roofing would lead me to suggest you give them a call. The process was seamless, making what normally is a very stressful time just after a storm damages your home, and turning it into an experience where I was confident that I (and my home) was in the right hands. A year later now, and I am looking at purchasing a new home that has an older roof (20+ years). Craig was the first person I called, as he is one of the few contractors who I immediately felt I could trust his judgement.

Adam Johnson was excellent to work with and he installed a great roof. The expectations he set were exactly how it worked out. The crew worked really hard and treated our home respectfully. There was one follow up item several weeks after the roof was completed, and Adam was very responsive. We were very pleased and I would recommend Johnson roofing.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of our work is priced based on unit measurements, such as square and linear footage. Once our representatives measure your property we can accurately offer our services. Unlike some of our competitors, we give you written contracts with final pricing, so you know you won't get hit with additional charges at the end of the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We really try to educate our customers about the contracting process, especially when an insurance claim is involved. It is our philosophy that the more comfortable our prospective customers feel and the more confidence they have in us, the better our chances are at winning their business. Once we have earned that trust and contracted with our customer to perform work, our priority becomes performing their work in a timely manner and being responsive throughout the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our president, Adam Johnson, is a licensed attorney in the state of Nebraska and has spent years dealing with owners, architects, contractors, government agencies, and insurers related to construction projects. Knowing the legal pitfalls of construction contracting help us protect our customers and their property.
Our Project Advisor Chip Erwin is a licensed General Contractor with 30 years experience in all trades of residential and commercial work throughout the USA.
And our Administration is headed up by Kelsey Hoyt who has created a strong company backbone and has rocketed our professional level of customer service.
