JP so far has done an excellent job! She responds right away to any of my questions or comments and the price is awesome! Can't wait for the big day! I know she's going to make it excellent!

I used Cruisin Music for an event about 6 months ago and JP was awesome! She played all the right music at the right time and really kept the dance floor moving. When things slowed down a bit or started to lag she would start some Karaoke singing (she has an awesome voice too) and even played some really funny Bar Games with some of my guests. It was hilarious!!! She stepped right in and did the MC work when we gave away door prizes and was great at it. Her experience as a Radio Disc Jockey really came in handy when she had to ad lib for a while. JP really knows how to run an event and how to keep things moving. I have referred her to my company for our Christmas party because I know it will be a great time with her playing the music and running the show!

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Unlike many DJ service companies, especially the larger "franchise" companies, we do not charge extra if asked to play a little bit longer (within reason). We understand that the party doesn't always end when you plan so if you need us to play a little longer, we will happily do so without demanding an extra fee. Many larger companies charge as much as $75 for an extra half hour which we do not do.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As a Disc Jockey with around 30 years of experience, JP Cruise prides herself on staying abreast of all things music related, including current music. She has learned over the years that a great DJ plays "for her crowd" not "to her crowd" no matter what music the guests want to hear. JP is familiar with all types of music from all eras, including the big band era all the way up to today's top 40 radio hits. A great DJ knows how to put his/her pride aside and play what the crowd wants and not what he/she thinks is "cool". Understanding and listening to the client is the key to being a successful DJ and JP learned how to "read" a crowd all the way back in the 80's when she was just getting started.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was listening to the radio one day and heard a female jock. Her name: Lisa Carr. She was so good. I wanted a job like hers. So I enrolled at Brown Institute for Radio & Television Broadcasting. Then I got my first job spinning records in a night club. The rest is history!
