I received a quote from Don and from the get-go, he was professional, kind, and willing to work through the unknown timing of when exactly the building we were photographing would be finished and ready for professional photos. Why I would highly recommend Don for this type of photography was because not only did he do a phenomenal job, but also because this was all done over email. I never met Don because I was in Missouri and he was in Nebraska and the project was in Iowa! I think that goes to show how well of a communicator Don is. He did exactly what we asked and got the pictures we required of him. Since some of the interiors of the building had not been totally installed/set up, Don emailed me what the problem areas were and was willing to go back and take photos. Very happy with the photos and if I have another project around the area again I will most definitely contact Don again.

Don was hired in November 2016 to take photos of an awards ceremony we were having at one of our offices. This is a very prestigious award and only a few people win each year.
With his being said, the ceremony was put together in a very short period of time and Don was notified on Friday, 10/28, that he would be taking photos for our event. Don reached out to me right away and made sure that all of my questions were answered and even stopped by my office to scout out the location of the photo shoot.
The event was on Wednesday, 11/2 and Don was wonderful! He was on time and very flexible! He made sure that he was in the middle of the action without being in the way. I was amazed when Don sent me the link for the photos the following day. Not only was I surprised by his quick turnaround, but at how beautiful the photos turned out! He used lighting and angles to make our meager warehouse look like something from a magazine.
Don exceeded my expectations on both his quality and customer service and I would recommend him to anyone!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't like to lose jobs over a few dollars, so I often ask potential clients what their budget is, and do my best to meet them at a point that is comfortable for both of us. My entire fee is always up front and there are never any hidden charges.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication, and knowing exactly what my client wants from me. This is a partnership that works best when everyone is on the same page.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was educated in macro and forensic photography at such institutions as the University of St. Louis School of Medicine, the Southern Police Institute, and others. Additionally I regularly collaborate with and get inspiration from some of the finest photographers in the industry as well as other pros from across the country and constantly study the latest trends in editing, shooting, etc. There are countless resources for professional photographers who want to stay on top of their game.
