What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in straightforward and fair pricing. Every project is different, so I provide a free written estimate based on the size and condition of the project and the amount of preparation required.
I don't believe in cutting corners to offer the lowest possible price. My goal is to provide a quality paint job at a fair price and make sure you understand exactly what you're paying for before the work begins.
I also offer a 15% discount to veterans and seniors.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning what you're looking to accomplish and looking at the project firsthand. I'll discuss the condition of the surfaces, what preparation is needed, your preferred colors and finish, and any concerns you may have.
I'll then provide a free written estimate outlining the work. Once we're scheduled, I follow a consistent process for protecting the area, preparing the surfaces, painting, and cleaning up.
I keep customers informed throughout the project so there are no surprises. I also clean up at the end of each workday and make sure the job is completed properly before I consider it finished.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have three years of professional painting experience through my home services and painting businesses, along with more than 20 years of hands-on experience painting homes.
I've also completed Sherwin-Williams online painting training covering professional painting practices, products, preparation, and application techniques.
I continue to learn and improve my skills because I believe good painting is about more than putting paint on a wall. Proper preparation and attention to detail make a significant difference in the finished result.
