FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I truly believe there are very few cookie cutter solutions in this industry. Every property and client has a certain nuance that needs time and attention to find the right solution that works not only in function but makes the homeowner comfortable as well. This drives the process. 1.) Initial Contact 2.) Project Walkthrough 3.) Design 4.) Revision if Necessary 5.) Implementation
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been certified as: Nebraska Pesticide Applicator, NCMA Segmental Retaining Wall Installer ICPI Paver Installer Rainbird and Hunter Irrigation Specialist
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Once upon a time I was pursuing a degree in Architectural Engineering. I quickly discovered that life behind a computer screen was not for me. I got a job at Earl May Nursery though a family member and fell in love with the green industry. A couple years later, a landscape installation company in Papillion took a risk on me and hired me as a foreman. From there it was only up. I developed my skills. Projects got bigger and bigger. Over time I had developed my management skills and became an installation manager. I never stop educating myself on industry best practices and emerging technology. But in the end, all that matters is that I walk off a property knowing I did the best job I could and exceeded my client's expectations.
