My back yard, alley parking space, and side beds were completely overgrown with weeds - some of those bad boys were 10 feet tall. Well Rooted came in, and within three hours had everything cut down, cleaned up, and removed from my yard. Joel came through and sprayed to kill everything, and they threw in a free mow to clean everything up.
I couldn't be happier with the result - my yard looks twice as big today as it did yesterday, and my dogs are way happier. I'm sure my neighbors are relieved, too!

We are SO happy that we decided to hire Well Rooted Gardens to install our wooden fence! We did tons of research on other companies, but WRG had overwhelming positive reviews with only one 4 star review. Joel was so prompt and professional throughout all of our communication (email, Thumbtack messaging, and in-person) and also provided knowledgeable answers for my many questions. He filed a permit with the city (as any good contractor would do), but also kept us informed on the status of our pending permit.
After reviewing our property and comparing it against the city’s lot lines, our property lines looked off. Instead of just installing the fence and crossing his fingers that the city’s lot line map was correct, he recommended we contact a surveyor to verify our lot lines before moving forward. We appreciated that he wanted to install our fence the RIGHT way, and took steps to ensure we wouldn’t have any issues now or in the future.
Joel estimated installation would take 2-3 days and he was exactly right. Other fence installation companies can take weeks or months for installation because they use one crew to install the posts, and another to install the boards. That’s absolutely not the case with WRG - Michael (fence crew leader) and his small crew completed the entire project in 2 days. Not only we were blown away with how quickly they worked, but also their fine craftsmanship and professionalism. We wanted the fence to touch the side of the house, but had a drain pipe and a retaining wall in the way. Before installation, I told Michael my concern and he quickly assured me it wasn’t a problem. His solution (photo) was great! We also appreciate how straight the fence is and how the top of the boards line up, despite being on a slope (photo). Michael even upgraded our gate for free to include the metal cable because he thinks it’s better and will last longer (photo).
Overall, I’m not sure who is happier with our fence, us or the dog! We highly recommend Well Rooted Gardens for any of your landscaping needs. Thanks again Joel, Michael and team!
