First I want to mention in writing this review the app has you select 3 out of 5 qualities, not a fair system. All five could be selected and wanted to mention that. Paving companies can be a pain to deal with and most of the time the customer doesn’t understand the process. Ricky and his son work together equally to insure that the customer understands whats happening. They will answer any question you have. I personally did some site work myself at my pace in preparation of what they needed to. They were more than accommodating in the flexibility of the schedule to meet my needs. Everything that was asked of them they did in a professional manner. If I need more asphalt work in the future I will call them.

Our new driveway was damaged by snow plowing last winter. In April we contacted the original installer to repair the drive. We were put off until the repair was scheduled for September 22. When the company did not come as scheduled, we found Thumbtack and entered our request on a Friday evening. We were astonished to receive an immediate response from Ricky Harrison. We contacted him right away, and he scheduled an estimate for Saturday. Because we were leaving for a long absence, and to preserve the driveway from future damage, Ricky shuffled his business for the upcoming week to fit in our job. THIS KIND OF SERVICE IS EXTRAORDINARY. The work on the driveway is beautiful. We couldn’t be more pleased!

I tried Thumbtack for the 1st time to get quotes to have my driveway Sealcoated. Harrison's paving was the 2nd contractor to reach out to me. I contacted Ricky via the Thumbtack application on my phone. He was able to come give me a quote that same day! Ricky arrived and introduced himself and handed me his card. He proceeded to walk my driveway with me to get an understanding of what I wanted done. He explained how some cracks where different than others and the reasons why those cracks had appeared. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told me everything that he was going to do to my driveway. He provided me a verbal quote and told me to call him if I was interested in hiring him. I called that evening to hire Harrison's Paving to seal my driveway. He promptly arrived at the appointed time and sealed my driveway. When I arrived home from work he was just finishing. He had applied 2 patches of asphalt to areas I was concerned with at no charge. He also explained that if I seal my driveway every 3 years or so that I should be able to get another 8-10 years out of it! Ricky and his Father did an Awesome job! Bottom line: They did a great job! I didn't want to spend too much, and got several quotes. Ricky was the only contractor who thought outside the box, looking to save me money while achieving my ultimate goal. They were professional from start to finish. I really liked the fact that both Ricky and his Dad were on-site ensuring the quality of the job was high quality. They did the work within the time frame given and stuck to their quote. I'm extremely happy with the results. I would absolutely use them again.
