FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always taking workshops, classes, reading books, getting involved in photography groups, practicing lighting techniques in the studio and on location with models to improve my wedding work. It's not cheap, its like going to school all over again. but I do enjoy it
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved photographing people. I am also a social butterfly. So weddings involve lots of people, and food, and joy, and fun. I truly enjoy documenting all that goes on around me during a wedding. I enjoy the challenges of a fast moving day, the little details, the emotions, and creating something lasting for the couple at the end of the day.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say don't hire your uncle with a camera. look at wedding photography as an investment. Good photographers are not inexpensive, but when your big day is over, all you really have left is your memories, and the photos. Invest in a good photographer. check out the work, see if their style fits your vision of what you want captured on your wedding day.
