I have used Pedro from Imperium Cooling & Heating on numerous occasions now. The first was shortly after buying a new condo and having a leak from our HVAC when first using the cooling. He came out quickly and resolved the issue. As winter came the same HVAC failed again so I had Pedro back out to review. At 35 years old the system really was beyond value to repair and I got a great rate to install a whole new system by Imperium.
But this is why I highly rate Imperium Cooling & Heating the most. During the install one of the sub-contracted employees of his doing the job tried to give me a deal on an 'off the books' service to a mini-split system on our attic room. This individual caused damage to the condenser but had me spend hundreds, cash in hand with his trial-and-error attempts to repair the head unit (which was not faulty) and in the end insisted I needed to replace the whole thing (remember, this unscruipulous idiot broke it in the first place). All this happened over weeks while this guy continued working for Imperium and put me at the bottom of his priorities.
As luck would have it, there was a small issue with the new HVAC and Perdro came out same day. Great service. So I took this chance to explain what had occurred with one of his guys. Apparently, I am not the only one impacted by this individual and he had been fired by Imperium (quite rightly) and Pedro was doing a lot of damage limitation to the reputation of his company caused by this less than ethical sub-contractor.
So, for that reason more than any I highly recommend Imperium Cooling & Heating. They have great rates, put customers first and do not retain employees who seek to damage their reputation.
I have had Pedro out on 4 occasions, all great services. The last was replacing the mini-split, done in one day, done well and done at a great price. 5 Stars for sure.
