We contracted Rosario Construction Services to repair some water damage to a 3-season porch. We expanded the project to include insulating the walls, improving the lighting, and running the heat and A/C to the room, turning it into an all-season porch. Jose was great to work with throughout the project, especially as compared to other general contractors I've worked with. He was always prompt and courteous and, most importantly, anything he said would happen actually happened. Everything was transparent, up-front and reliable. He was also very flexible with changes to the project, both those that increased and decreased the scope. When we realized one of the walls was already insulated and in good condition, he didn't hesitate to take it off the project, reducing the size by nearly 25%! His focus was on doing the job right and doing the job that I needed, not just the largest one he could get me to do. The quality of the work was also top-notch. The damaged walls that were replaced were never straight and the flooring underneath was crooked to match them. The new walls are plumb, and he was able to use the trim to cover where the flooring was poorly done. The room isn't just insulated now, it actually looks better overall. I can't find anything wrong with the job done and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rosario Construction Services to friends and family.

Where to start. Last year, my husband started to renovate our kitchen, and he progressed as far as demoing the entire room, down to the studs. Shortly there after, my husband was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer, and as such, my husband was unable to continue work on our kitchen. After a friend of ours got the word out that my husband was terminally ill, and our kitchen was in a shambles, Steve Monticone, and his crew, stepped in and completed the project. The only money that Steve would accept from us, was money to pay for building supplies. He would accept no money for his time or labor. They did a wonderful job. From start to finish, the project took five weeks, and during that time, Steve or someone from his crew, was at our house seven days a week, because they knew that my husband's time was limited, and they wanted to have the project completed before he died. They were able to accomplish that goal, and my husband was able to see the new kitchen. This past spring, I wanted to put a deck and patio on my house, and I hired Steve and his crew to do the work. The end result is breath taking. I cannot say enough good things about Steve Monticone and Turnhouse Construction. They are honest and hard working and they do quality work. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't hire them. Finding contractors who're honest, reliable and competent is a rarity and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Tom Sorensen started under my contractor, hired to transform/renovate my new condo. Tom began on the job as a painter primarily and bit by bit I observed even greater and more varied talents. While painting I was observed that Tom was great at his job, pleasant to have around, and he always left after all was cleaned up each day. My idea for the master bedroom was to paint stripes alternate colors to look like wall paper but in my exact size and color choices. The job turned out superbly so we did this same process except, using different measurements in the hall guest bath. All looks great. After the renovation was completed, I have employed Tom has a handy man. He saved a fine but old and weak cocktail table by taking it apart, regluing and then cleaning it up like new. Then when a 4 foot wall was taken down and we all found an ugly pole in the middle of a now open room, Tom suggested a french technique, trompe'loile (forgive spelling, please) which makes my newly painted column look like it is fluted (it is not ) and in the two colors of the room, done with antique faux cracks, etc, Trust me, it is fabulous. And now Tom is saving an antique Register Clock that fell from the wall. I expect that when I get it back it will perform as new, still look antique....but put back together with loving care. And electrical problems sees easy to accomplish too. Tom is a really good guy and I wish him luck in his new business with himself as CEO. You can trust him, and as long as his vehicle is running, he will always be on the job.
