My experience with Grolen computers was excellent. They found no problems but needed New keyboard. My son says the computer works well.

Laptop Internal Speakers would cut out and there would be no sound. Thought it was a short in the wiring and wanted it repaired. Grolen Computers had it for several days, thought they had the problem fixed, but did not and couldn't fix it. Sold me a new pair of External Speakers to plug into my laptop and use .

Grolen was great ! The swap from an HHD to an SSD was completed with NO loss of data. The laptop runs super and the tech at Grolen were very professional. The cost was quite reasonable and was explained to me before the agreement of service. Great job Grolen !

David understood my urgency and responded immediately with by far the best options and advice on what to do. He even offered to check the laptop and blow out the dust in it for free to see if that is the problem. He advised me not to invest in a new fan though his price would have included it and was one of the most competitive. Thanks, Thumbtack, I couldn't have done it without you.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system is not complicated at all. in shop it's one of two flat rates, $79, or $179, plus any hardware you may need if any. On site $129/hour. We also have service plans available for preventative maintenance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are always playing with new technology not only for education, but for fun! Computers and technology are our passion.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started with a Commodore 64/128 and grew with the industry. It was something I have always had a passion for since I was young.
