I enjoyed a surprisingly wonderful experience today. My husband, two dogs, and three cats have had many cleaners over the years. Our most recent moving from the state so we went months without anyone. Knowing that the Summer is here and we entertain a lot of company especially for the 4th, I panicked and needed a DEEP one-time cleaning urgently! So I started my searched and ended up with service magic s referral of Glass Slip(p)er cleaning company owned by Danielle (which happens to be my name) and she was the first to call, and the first to come over and provide the free estimate. She was in the ballpark of what I expected for a day-long deep cleaning. I was nervous to use a new company because you hear of so many bad experiences, theft, etc., so we took our chances, and arrived home at the end of the day, and the house was spectacular! Danielle and her team went over and above and organized everything and went to laundry to find clean blankets for the spare bedroom. She organized by bathroom closet (which hasn t been done in years) - she organized our photo table, made beds, hung clothes, organized by color, did the dishes, dusted the heck out of the house, she moved furniture (yay!) and washed window skills and moved beds, steamed rugs, cleaned glass doors, organized shoes, kept our kitties safe (they try to get out!), and I don t know what else to say but I hired her and her company to do consistent cleaning. It takes years to find people to do exactly what you need - not what you tell them. Basically to use COMMON SENSE and look around and plain just clean what they see as dirty. I think she has high expectations for her workers, and that s important. She has valid insurance, and I would highly recommend her. I hope the service is just as good as we move forward since they set the bar high :) But we were very very pleased with today s efforts and her responsive communication. She also accept paypal which is not easy to find either. Not all of us like to use cash, so that is convenient. Also, if I had pictures of before and after, my husband was shocked at the tub. We have very HIGH Iron in our water in Bedford, and we have not seen our tub that white since we bought the house 7 1/2 years ago. Thank you Danielle and team. Happy 4th. And thank you for the fast turnaround and accommodating our crazy schedule.

Be very careful when hiring this company !! I sought an initial estimate and hired Glass Slipper Cleaning because they were the lowest estimate that I received. I agreed to the estimate and paid for half of the services up front. On the day of the cleaning, the owner of the company attempted to change the number of hours required for the job several times during the cleaning process. She left several times during the day to give out other estimates and was not there for the last three hours that her team was on the job. I gave very specific instructions on what I needed to have done and she and her team decided to do other things that I had not requested. They wasted time on unnecessary items and left furniture all over the place instead of returning it to its original place. They also neglected to finish one of the rooms and left the kitchen floor very dirty. When I mentioned my complaints to the owner, she told me that they were petty items. The end result was that I was charged twice the amount of the initial estimate and when I refused to pay the entire amount, I was contacted by a lawyer and told that she was pursuing legal action. The owner of this company is rude, very unprofessional and a bully. Her workers were very pleasant and diligent, but I would not recommend this company. I am not the only one that has had a problem with her bait and switch tactics. There are plenty of other companies that provide the same type of service that have better ratings and reviews and won’t try the low ball method of selling their services. This company requires extensive supervision and monitoring , be very vigilant if you hire them.

Despite the client attempt to infer the we were contracted to clean the home of some distant elderly relative, the client contacted us for an estimate to clean her deceased uncle's home, and according to her, her ward, sight unseen. She informed us she wanted a bathroom and kitchen deep cleaned and a few rooms quickly cleaned. Upon arrival we were horrified of the condition. This was clearly a hoarder’s home. There were 15 years of animal feces though out the home and 15 years of caked on human feces all over the bathroom. There was mold and nicotine on every surface of the home. Had the home been of normal wear and tear we would have honored our original estimate. We told the client that the original estimate of 10 hours to clean the home was going to be way more due to the condition. In all fairness, we did not agree on a concrete estimate. However, the client knew our hourly rate. In addition to the original cleaning request, we were told to clean a refrigerator that was covered in mold which we did. In the middle of us cleaning the moldy refrigerator, we were instructed to stop. We were rushed out before we could finish the job. Any furniture not replaced was at the request of the client. Prior to our work, the home was uninhabitable and should have been condemned. The home is now sell able. The client was notified prior to any work performed that we would not honor the original estimate. If we were provided the opportunity to preview the home prior to providing our estimate, the estimate would have been considerably higher. If as the client opines in her review, our estimate was the lowest than, any other estimate, site seen. would allow have been much more.
