FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It depends on travel time/distance, and length of sessions. I try to keep my rates very affordable so that clients will get the help they need, ask for tune-ups when needed, and refer to others.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work P/T for the Asperger's/Autism Network of New England and take advantage of all training they provide. I also continually read and listen to coaching trainings from successful coaches that provide support, inspiration, and marketing ideas. I continue to read psychology publications (because I love them) and practice what I preach. I am always learning, sharing what I learn, and celebrating what is going right! Life Coaching is still a relatively new field. This is very exciting in that there are no real barriers to what can be accomplished.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Therapy still maintains a stigma of what is wrong. I want to focus on what is right, hence What Else Can Go Right? concept. I want people to be relaxed about asking for help. I do everything I can to create a relaxed, casual environment where clients can speak free of judgment and worry of confidentiality.
