Introduction: I am a frame/finish carpenter. I have been building and fixing homes ("Dirt to Doorknobs") since 1979. I was born/raised in NH. I was the supervisor of maintenance for 15 Bldg Campus at Suffolk University in Boston for 9 years, where I also earned a BSBA and MBA. We offer residential and commercial carpentry, new construction, renovations, and remodeling. As of 08/15/2023 My Rate Is $65/Hr. in Tax-Free NH, $68/Hr. in MA & ME We are fully insured with a $1M/$2M policy. We are capable of coordinating and managing all residential home building needs and many assorted commercial needs.

I had an excellent experience working with Bruce from Montville Construction. Bruce installed a new sliding door and repaired water damage surrounding the original door. His workmanship and professionalism with all aspects of the project were outstanding. Would definitely use Montville Construction for my next project!

I hired Bruce Montville to replace deck and trim that was dry rotting. He offered suggestions to improve on the project which I appreciated. Montville Construction (Bruce) provided an elegant, simple solution to create a carport and storage area under our deck. Bruce suggested moving the support beam 2 feet further out from the wall of the house to accommodate the width of a car. He reinforced the deck adding footing anchors, and corner braces, which were missing from the original build. He created a more solid, stable structure. Bruce answered all of our questions (and, we had a lot of questions!). He provided a clear, written estimate for the work. Further, he notified us of any additional costs before he incurred the costs. He also set clear expectations as to the start date & finish date of the work, and he let us know when he would be on site. He is punctual, reliable, and knowledgable. We could not be happier with the final result! We will consider Bruce at Montville Construction for any future projects.

Bruce was very responsive and installed customer doors quickly and efficiently. He was a pleasure to work with and I would be happy to hire him again

Bruce fixed our leaky roof, added scoffing vents to our house and fixed wood trim inside our house. He offered different choices on the repairs to help us save money. He provided us with a detailed estimate and worked quickly on the repairs. We would recommend him to others especially for the wood work he did.
