I am a frame/finish carpenter. I have been building and fixing homes ("Dirt to Doorknobs") since 1979. I was born/raised in NH. I was the supervisor of maintenance for 15 Bldg Campus at Suffolk University in Boston for 9 years, where I also earned a BSBA and MBA. We offer residential and commercial carpentry, new construction, renovations, and remodeling. As of 05/15/2024, My Rate Is $72/Hr. in Tax-Free NH, $75/Hr. in MA & ME We are fully insured with a $1M/$2M policy. We are capable of coordinating and managing all residential home building needs and many assorted commercial needs.

My project involved a less than straight forward improvement to an old 1900s section of my home. Bruce signed up for the task with enthusiasm and maintain that same enthusiasm til it was complete.. We expanded the scope of work and made several changes and Bruce was very supportive and offered many design and structural suggestions. Bruce worked well with other sub-contractors and the officials of the town of Exeter. He is a great guy and I can certainly recommend him to others.

Bruce and his team did a good job for us and everything came out looking great. This was an old house that was tough to work with but he and his team were able to figure out how to handle the out of square conditions and still end up with a great outcome.

I hired Bruce Montville to replace deck and trim that was dry rotting. He offered suggestions to improve on the project which I appreciated. Bruce fixed our leaky roof, added scoffing vents to our house and fixed wood trim inside our house. He offered different choices on the repairs to help us save money. He provided us with a detailed estimate and worked quickly on the repairs. We would recommend him to others especially for the wood work he did.
