Hi I'm Donovan, founder and photographer of Carpe Diem Design Studio. Most people have heard the famous phrase, Carpe Diem and know it's meaning to be Seize the Day. Yet many people don't take the advice. Neither did I, until now. However I have realized that living in the moment can mean that I miss capturing it. The catch 22 of that is when you are capturing it, you take away from living in the moment.
We are a photography and videography company that is pushing the boundaries of conventional principles of design and photography. We blend storytelling and creativity to create unique images for our clients.

Rob and I, Chanel Lovelace, were truly beyond pleased with our weddingphotography experience! From start to finish, he was professional, attentive, accommodating, and completely on point. He went above and beyond—even staying past our scheduled hours to make sure every special moment was captured. It honestly felt like having family there with us!
He was incredibly open to our ideas and suggestions and worked beautifully with us, our family, friends, and even my fiancé, who is a videographer. His artistry, creativity, and attention to detail were absolutely amazing. What impressed us even more was his communication and flexibility afterward. He was willing to work with us on edited images while also allowing us to receive raw footage, which helped reduce additional costs and gave us more flexibility.

The pricing is basic packages with just edited digital images for custom coverage. We offer bigger packages with albums and engagement sessions starting at $2400. No travel fees unless considered a destination wedding. Those packages start at $3500.

Ask to see portfolios on previous and recent work. Determine if the style is consistent with your goals.
