Full arch design of our house that was gutted. We had first worked w a diff architect who did an incomplete job and then retired so we hired jasmine/reema and got very happy w the results. The difference in quality is astonishing, they made the original architect (from a bug architecture firm called axis) look like a total amateur

Jrda studios provided drawings and excellent customer service for my single family home renovation. On our first meeting, I was advised I would need a variance from the city. JRDA is comprised of a team with a licensed architect and experts in construction and project management. They have a proven, organized process for understanding our needs as a client, offer a few solutions, and take care of planning and execution. They were knowledgeable, empathic, talented designers, and problem solvers. Besides taking care of city permitting, they also managed communication with the construction crew and provided a template to manage buying materials within our budget. They helped keep everything on track, on time, and within budget. And they offered nice interior design tips too! I would hire them again for their professionalism and high quality work. Pics are of our kitchen, staircase, and bathroom remodel.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We take pride in offering highly competitive pricing that suits your needs perfectly. Our architectural fees are divided into various phases, which can be tailored based on the project's complexity. For those extra services like planning board approval and permitting assistance, we follow an hourly billing approach to ensure transparency and fairness.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process can vary a bit based on the unique aspects of each project, but generally, it begins with an initial phone conversation. This is often followed by a site visit to better understand the client's needs.
When the client is ready to move forward, we create an Agreement for their approval. Afterward, we schedule a site visit for measurements, signing the Agreement, and processing a retainer payment.
From there, we start by sketching out the existing conditions and moving on to the first draft of the proposed design. After getting the client's green light on these initial drawings, we move forward with more detailed working drawings. These will be vital for the contractor to secure permits and carry out the construction phase. Throughout the process, clear communication and collaboration are key to ensuring a successful outcome.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Received a 5-year Accredited bachelors of Architecture from NJIT. I am licensed in NJ & NY. Have worked in residential architecture for the past 10 years, ranging from small scale renovation to large-scale new construction.
