Hi my name is Melissa and I am a Professional Organizer and the founder of MY Preferred Organizing LLC. I offer FUN in FUNctionality. At a young age I always enjoyed organizing and rearranging furniture anywhere I went. Becoming a Professional Organizer has always been a dream of mine and I am so blessed that my hobby is now my business. My goal is to Reduce, Arrange, and Maintain any space in your home all while having fun doing it. It doesn't have to be a stressful process! I can help you declutter and organize rooms such as Kitchens, Closets, Mud Rooms, and any other space in your home! It is all about creating a system that works for YOU! Melissa and her team are fantastic. They work quickly AND carefully, and handled my items with care. Three closets that I couldn’t even enter are now organized logically and beautifully. I keep opening the doors to admire them! Melissa has great ideas for better organization, but she checks in to make sure I like them. My living area finally feels like home. I will have them back to tackle the cellar and attic.

I charge by the hour, but work efficiently to get the job done!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to be friendly and relate to my clients, make them feel comfortable-with no judgement. Typically, I will ask for pictures of the space we are going to be working on. I then discuss what their goal is for the space and how we can accomplish that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of NAPO, and currently taking classes to gain more experience. I have been organizing for years.
