FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Setting a fair price for both parties is the main goal. This is why (good) communication is always important to me. When figuring out where we are with pricing, it's imperative that all the client's expectations are laid out immediately. From there, we can get a better understanding for the length of the project, and the level of skill, equipment, software, etc that is needed. Remember: pricing is always negotiable to me; as long as it's discussed before hand.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients are the most fun! In my experience, I enjoy having the people I work with being as much a part of the creative process as they want to be. New clients hopefully become reoccurring ones. To do that successfully, first timers get 20% off my rate, and unlimited revisions (if they're required) to get the job completed and to standard; no matter what!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been making slideshows, and shooting photography and videos as far back as I can remember. But my real training started with Full Sail University as a Digital Cinematography major. From there, I studied Television & Radio at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. Although I have a strong roots in film production; I can't stress m enough that I am a Digital Media Creator as much as I am a Filmmaker. I absolutely love photography. I've studied and shot almost as long as I've worked with video. Honestly, I'm just a shooter at the end of the day, and hopefully you can see that in the variation of my work.
