Lisa was so nice, enthusiastic, and very easy to communicate with. Scheduling was a piece of cake and she and her sister arrived on time. Lisa did an amazing job on my kitchen counters and appliances, which sparkled. However, other parts of the house fell short. Lisa said she was going to come with her mom, but her sister showed up instead. I wonder if her mom is a better cleaner. Before they left I noticed huge spots of dirt on the kitchen floor. I pointed it out and they were very nice about going back to do it. After they left, I noticed so many parts of the house they neglected or just did a quick job on: Master bathroom they did not scrub all the tiles nor any of the grout in the shower. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe the grout was permanently stained or too hard to clean. Nope, I cleaned my shower myself after they left and it took less than 5 minutes to do a thorough job. Mirrors were streaked or not cleaned at all. The hardwood floors were gently swiffered but not scrubbed, and they left big swirley dry streaks, so I scrubbed them myself the next day. As with the shower, dirt came up easily from the floors. They missed some corners and tables when it came to dusting and there were areas where they dusted around objects but didn't pick them up to dust underneath. I don't expect anyone to wash windows, but using a quick glass cleaner or vinegar to remove hand prints would have been nice. I used to clean houses too. And you have to break a sweat to do it well. They probably spent 1 hr 45 minutes at most cleaning my three bedroom 3-story house. Way too fast to do the job well. Again, they are so nice, and I don't like leaving a bad review. Maybe with Lisa and a more experienced second person, they would do a much better job. I also see that she does organizing and maybe her heart is more in that part of her business.

Lisa at Polish and Shine House Cleaning gave me a very good price and accommodated me very fast. I called her first on Saturday and left a voice mail, she called me back on Sunday, and I scheduled her for Monday afternoon. She promptly arrived and cleaned my 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house very fast, in 2 hours. It was not the most detailed and deep job, there was some dust left on the floor and some old dirty spots on the kitchen tiles were not removed. I wouldn't qualify it as a deep cleaning, but it was a decent job for the price. She did not empty trash bins, but we did not discuss it in advance. What we discussed was cleaning the oven from the outside and she did it very well. She also brought her own supplies, including paper towels, I did not need to give her anything. I was satisfied with my experience overall, but I would go with someone more detailed and deep next time even if it costs a bit more.

I decided to get into this line of work because it is something that I love to do and I enjoy helping others feel clean and organized. I love to give people more time to live life outside of the home ( they don't need to worry about cleaning and organizing).

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be make sure that you will be getting the services that you are looking for. If you are unsure what a specific company will do when cleaning always ask. Look for someone who can work to your needs and cares about the work they do.
