Swedish Massage: Swedish massage is the style that comes to mind when most people think about massage. The goal is relaxing the entire body and this is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Additional techniques include circular pressure applied by the hands and palms, firm kneading, percussion-like tapping, bending and stretching. Lotion is often used to reduce friction and stimulate the skin. Swedish massage is exceptional for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension. 30 minutes - $42 60 minutes - $82 90 minutes - $102 Deep Tissue Massage: Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage but is used to target knots and release chronic muscle tension. Other benefits include reducing inflammation and helping to eliminate scar tissue. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).Deep tissue massage uses strokes across the grain of the muscles, not with the grain as in Swedish massage. The more intense movements and techniques such as deep finger pressure may be slightly uncomfortable and cause soreness that lasts a couple of days before resulting in the desired relaxation and pain relief. 30 minutes - $52 60 minutes - $82 90 minutes - $102 Integrated Massage: Not everyone needs the same massage. Someone with a tense neck, headaches and lower back pain will need different treatment than someone else who has joint pain or sore shoulders. Each of these problems will require deeper pressure or other specialized attention. We will design a custom massage for you based on your initial consultation and will tailor your treatment using open communication and intuitive massage skills. You may request any or all of the massage types listed to meet your specific needs. Take time to care for yourself; experience relaxation and freedom from aches and pains. 30 minutes - $52 60 minutes - $82 90 minutes - $102 Hot Stone Massage: Hot stone massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones. They are often basalt, a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well. It is a deeply soothing, relaxing form of massage. The heat helps tight muscles release. Hot Stone Massage can be a dual purpose massage. Due to the heat of the stones, it is always a highly relaxing, stress reduction massage. The hardness of the stones allows the therapist to address specific problem areas with more detailed work or deeper pressure. 60 minutes - $92 90 minutes - $122 Therapeutic Massage: Therapeutic massage focuses on specific areas which cause pain. This massage is a treatment to relax those areas. The caring touch of another human being soothes our bodies and our minds. It is the essence, to our happiness and soothes our souls. We all need to take time and listen to our bodies and our inner soul within. 30 minutes - $52 60 minutes - $82 90 minutes - $102 Pregnancy Massage: Prenatal, specific techniques can reduce pregnancy discomforts and concerns and enhance the physiology and emotional well-being of both mother and fetus. In the postpartum period, specialized techniques rebalance structure, physiology, and emotions of the new mother, and may help her to bond with and care for her infant. Specialized, advanced training is highly recommended, and many practitioners require referrals from physicians prior to therapy. 30 minutes - $52 60 minutes - $82
