Expert repair and customer service. I was lucky to find them on Thumbtack when our Washing Machine stopped draining. We were contacted promptly, given a fair estimate and scheduled an appointment. Moises came, diagnosed the problem right away and ordered the part right in front of my eyes. We made an appointment for a few days later when the part arrived for him to come back and install it. I'm happy to say our Washing Machine is working once again and our family has found a nice, reliable appliance repair service with exceptional customer service. Dishwasher Repair or Maintenance
Got a text that the appointment was for 10:00am. Nobody called me or showed up so a couple hours later I called and they said they need a window of time. Repairman called me at 2:10 saying he'd arrive at 2:45 but came at 3:30. Was pretty dismissive of the problem and seemed like he wasn't really listening. Said Thumbtack prices are "off" and to do the repair it would be $250 instead of $150 due to me having a hardwood floor? Definitely an above-market price. Seemed like he just really didn't want to replace the dishwasher hose which is what I thought he was going to do. Instead gave me a "diagnostic" that my dishwasher had a "food problem" which was already obvious and told me to buy a dishwasher cleaning tablet and run it with vinegar. Dear Sir I'm not in the business of repairing for the sake of what you feel might work. My suggestion to you was to not waste money on a repair if your problem was you needed customer education for cleaning your dishwasher. I educated you regarding this w/o charging for any repairs. The additional price estimate was regarding additional work you requested outside of your original explanation.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I always charge the trip charge/diagnostic/estimate($60). If you decide to not repair then this would be the only charge As always we can apply that charge towards the repair cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I remember what helped with my wife and I when we hired a contractor to come to our home. 1) call the business and speak to the technician that will be actually performing the job. What type of impression did you get? 2) After the diagnostic is presented, you should feel completely clear on what to expect.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Working with GE I would service approximately 1200 customers per year. Although I'm a licensed electrician, certified in refrigeration and factory certified I think my hands on experience working with a full range of customers has been invaluable.
