Studio work can be a bad experience if the studio doesn't have it's stuff together. ....engineers on the phone during your sessions, overcharging, nickel and dimming, people walking in and out of the session, engineers with little experience, engineers that have little actual musical knowledge. I've seen it all. So,I admit, after working with the same studio for 5 years, I was cautious about finding a new studio. You want to work with people who respect your art and are determined to help you make it sound its best. After coming across a few "hustlers" I found Alejandro and his team. Now we are a few months in and I am finishing up my project and I plan to keep working with them hands down. They are musicians, they are experienced, they are professional, and the facility is cool. I'm a songwriter and producer but they have songwriters, producers, musicians, and engineers on their team who were able to give me good feedback. I have my own contract but I think they even do PR and showcase stuff too. Anyway, it was a cool experience. It was easy and that's what you want your production experience to be so your talent can flow. -Check em out!
I had absolutely no vocal skills. But she started with the fundamentals and explained them well. I learned noted pitch and was able to read and understand the music to a large extent. Now I do not feel the least embarrassed when singing with friends or my godson. Bravo Brenda.
Robert is an accomplished songwriter and composer in his own right, and knows music theory extremely well. I would recommend him highly.
Bobby is a working musician with real, practical, creative, and applicable techniques around how to actually make music. Super grateful. Brilliant teach and a gifted artist - a rare match.
This is easily the best producer I’ve ever worked with and once you’ve worked with Flip it’s easy to tell that he is professional and understands what he’s doing. He can do everything from songwriting, producing, mixing and mastering. The experience I️ had with him was very good and we made a fire song.
Joey Auch has been helping me to record, write, and produce my upcoming EP. Anytime I read reviews I always take notice of any red flags such as overly negative or extremely positive reviews. I hope that my review does not seem suspect due to my enthusiasm and unwavering confidence in Joeys talent. If you are seriously looking for THE producer to help create whatever it is you're looking for, I have no reservations that Joey is your guy. Simply put, he is a genius without any of the ego you typically find with such talented producers. He is an accomplished musician who not only plays several instruments, but he is also a fantastic singer and songwriter and is extremely humble about his talents. I have had the opportunity to work with other producers, singers, and songwriters and comparatively speaking, Joey is can be considered the producer "par-excellence - one who is comfortable working with an artist regardless of how concrete his or her vision is and how experienced he or she may be. He can intuitively extrapolate the artist's vision while still, as I have experienced, patiently take the time needed to push and encourage the artist to achieve a new levels of skill, thereby helping create and tease out an even better sound, product, and song. Simply put, Joey will work miracles with whatever you, as an artist, may have in mind.
Over the past two years, Natalia has been my most valuable songwriting sounding board. Whether she is suggesting writing prompts or providing constructive feedback, she has the unique ability to gently push and pull the best out of me.
Robert is an exceptional engineer and producer. We worked together on numerous video shoots including some in South Africa where Rob also arranged vocals. Being a singer/songwriter himself gives him added value to his producing and engineering.
Working with Gabby has been such an amazing experience. She is really patient and attentive which is really important to me. She finds out what you need help with to help you grow as a musician and the results are awesome. If you’re a singer/ songwriter/ producer etc. and you’re trying to grow in your music career this class is for you! She has been training my ear and I’ve seen so much progress with my artistry since I’ve been working with her.
I considered my self just a songwriter before Perry took me on and helped me with instilling good habits and singing technique. I can proudly say I’m a SINGER songwriter now. Perry is a good teacher and person and really cares about my progress and I consider him a true friend. He is also a brilliant producer and master harmonizer and will shine up your songs in the studio. I’’m so happy that I found Perry.
Hello. My name is Tyson. I'm a male singer from Brooklyn. I have been doing vocal and songwriting training with me yovelah for the last 5 months. I have to say I have learned more with her then my past 2 teachers combined. She is patient, persistent, fun, and on trend with the music of today while knowing the music of the past. She has taught me to control my vocals as to not be to breathy or pitchy, how to relax myself on stage, and how to write a song from riding the melody to harmonies to the hook. Going with me yovelah was one of the best choices i made and I recommend her to anyone.
David is incredibly patient, precise, and calm. I had no idea where to start but David was able to immediately put sheet music in front of me and get me playing by the end of the first lesson. I still have a long way to go, but with David's help, I already feel like I've accomplished more than I could have on my own.

By working for the industry and being around many professional musicians, we have been able to reproduce our method for major sounding music to our indie clients, greatly improving their sound and even helping a few sign major deals.
Song Arts Academy is the educational destination for both serious developing songwriters and experienced professional songwriters. Billy Seidman, who teaches all Workshops and Forums, is a respected New York and Nashville based songwriter who runs BMI's Contemporary Songwriters Workshop and is a faculty member of NYU's Prestigious Masters in Songwriting Degree program at NYU Steinhardt. Visit the Song Arts website for more information and reviews of Billy and SAA. My clients include ASCAP, BMI and SESAC, the major "Performance Rights Organizations" that collect and distribute songwriting royalties and pay professional songwriters and music publishers. I teach those who want to write better songs a new vocabulary for how to listen. To achieve this, I use a unique critiquing system, giving writers definitive insight into what drives a song and what emotion is literally at its heart. By learning this critiquing system and the songcraft/decision making process of the world's greatest songwriters, workshop participants quickly see new directions in which to take their ideas and apply them to their own songs. The Workshop Intensive offers a weekly writing assignment designed to "Grow your Ears" and sensitivity. After four to five weeks, you'll understand organically so much more about how the songs you love are constructed and how to construct your own.
I am a professional singer/songwriter. I am willing to perform for events, proposals, etc., doing either my own songs or covers, or whatever you have in mind.
