I’m the decorator behind this female-owned, one-woman business, bringing 7 years of experience in balloon decorations, event design, wedding and event decorating. I design and install custom balloon garlands, backdrops, mosaics, bouquets, and more. Sourcing and providing all materials so you can simply show up and enjoy your event!
Minimums for deliveries:
• 5 Boroughs: $975
• Staten Island & Long Island: $1200
• New Jersey: $750 ($575 without breakdown)
I don’t work with client-provided balloons, as I can’t guarantee quality with unfamiliar supplies. I’m often on-site at events, so please send all important details via text or Thumbtack messages and allow up to 24 hours for a response.

Genease provided the décor and party planning for my mom’s surprise party in 2020, and the experience was unforgettable. She respectfully offered her input while guiding me toward the best decisions for the décor. Her professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process. Less than 24 hours after my event and I could not wait to write this review!! I was very skeptical of booking through thumbtack because I’ve never used it before. After multiple attempts to get a quote that was within my budget, I contacted Genese and I am so grateful that I found her!! Genese was very professional, and literally takes her time to listen to what you want. I explained to her my horrific experience with my venue and she made it her duty for me to look forward to a great experience. Before anything, she drew up several decor ideas as a blueprint! Talk about using technology!! She decorated for 50 guest in under 2 hours. The decor and detail was STUNNING!! As nervous as I was, because I’ve never have not been hands on with my events, it felt amazing to walk into my party and it was fully decorated by someone else. Thank you Genese for your effort, time, patience, craft and dedication to making people smile!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We want to provide quality results, by using quality materials. Let us take care of getting the materials, you just get ready to enjoy your event!
Book your date by paying 25% of the total, the remaining balance can be made in installments until paid in full, at least (3) days prior to the event date.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial consultation will take place via phone, video chat. Once we discuss the details of your event, concepts will be presented and chosen, unless you select a service from the menu here on Thumbtack. Once the first payment is obtained, your date is secure.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I will be a certified Balloon Decorator by 12/2020.
