Liu Piano Tuning

My journey with piano tuning began in 2016, and over the years I’ve continued learning, practicing, and taking on tuning work because I genuinely enjoy the craft. To me, piano tuning is more than simply making every note match a number on a device. A piano should sound balanced, musical, and comfortable to play. I take the time to listen carefully and treat every instrument with patience and respect. One thing that makes my service a little different is that I’m happy to help you understand your piano, too. If you’re interested, I can explain what I’m listening for, why your piano may have gone out of tune, and what makes a tuning truly feel and sound right. If I notice anything else that may need attention, I’ll explain it honestly and clearly — no pressure and no unnecessary recommendations. I’ve always felt a special sense of satisfaction after finishing a piano. When an instrument that sounded uneven or out of tune becomes balanced and musical again, it feels like I’ve helped bring something back to life. That feeling is one of the reasons I still love doing this work. Whether it’s a family piano, a student’s practice piano, or an instrument that hasn’t been tuned in a long time, I’ll give it the same care and attention. My goal isn’t simply to finish a tuning. I want you to sit down afterward, play your piano, and immediately feel the difference.
