I love teaching all ages and levels because I enjoy seeing students learn and achieve personal, social or professional goals. Everybody can learn if I respect the student's needs, pace and learning style and if I tap into his/ her interests and strengths. I use a comprehensive approach that includes speaking, reading, writing and listening is necessary; however, I focus primarily on communication . I provide knowledge, fun, creativity and flexibility to guarantee a successful pleasant experience for all students. Humor and a playful positive attitude are present in each class. Within a few lessons you will feel empowered to communicate: speaking and understanding. I have the age-appropriate resources, games and creative ideas to instill your love for learning Spanish and getting to know the Spanish culture. I've been teaching Spanish for 24 years and my students have improved their grades , passed their Spanish tests, decided to travel to Spanish-speaking countries, become better qualified for jobs, enriched their relationships with friends and family and more! I am a native from Argentina. I moved to the US in 1996, therefore I can relate to the feelings involved in learning a foreign language. I live a bilingual life, raising my daughter who is 14 and my son who is 6 years old. I travel to Argentina once or twice a year. I teach conversational Spanish, SAT subject test in Spanish, CLEP Spanish, AP Spanish language. In addition I lead Spanishpots: monthly potlucks that include structured activities and spontaneous exchanges that aim to reinforce listening, comprehension and speaking skills in a fun, safe, creative atmosphere. My lessons can be online or face to face at my place, a cafe or at yours.
