FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on scope and complexity, not just form count. Individual tax preparation typically starts at the rates shown and increases with additional income sources, self-employment, multi-state filing, or prior-year cleanup. Business tax, financial reviews, and ongoing accounting are scoped separately after a brief intake so expectations are clear before any work begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a short intake to understand your situation, what feels unclear, and what decisions you’re trying to make. From there, I confirm scope, timing, and pricing before any work begins. Once we’re aligned, communication stays direct and predictable so there are no surprises.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a bachelor's degree in accounting and have over 10 years of experience across public and private accounting environments. I've worked alongside CPA firms and supported business owners with tax preparation, financial review, and ongoing reporting. I'm an IRS-authorized tax preparer (PTIN holder) and e-file provider.
