Joao did an excellent job! He came out to repair a plumbing leak in our bathroom and also handled the patching, painting, and several other small projects around the house. He was professional, reliable, thorough, and paid close attention to every detail. Everything was completed beautifully, and he left the area clean when he finished. It is not always easy to find someone who can handle different types of repairs and do them all so well. I highly recommend Mr. Clean and will definitely call him again!

I had a really great experience with this company for my tub reglazing project. They were responsive, affordable, professional, and incredibly easy to work with throughout the entire process.
What I appreciated most was how accommodating they were with my complicated logistics since I wasn’t able to be there in person. They kept me updated every step of the way, sent photos throughout the process, and really problem-solved to make everything smooth and stress-free.

I can’t even explain how grateful I am to have found Joao. I’ve had some pretty terrible experiences with general contractors in the past, so I went into this feeling anxious and over cautious. From the very beginning, Joao took the time to explain everything in as much detail as I needed to feel comfortable. He even modified a few things around the payments schedule to ensure I felt confident in his work and could count on him to show up and do the work he said he would do.
The issue he came to fix was actually a result of poor work by the prior contractors. The shower was never sealed properly and in fact wasn’t waterproofed underneath like it should have been, which had caused a minor leak in the ceiling below. He spent 4 consecutive days working to remove the tiles, put the proper lining in, correct the pitch of the shower floor to ensure it drained properly (which it didn’t before), and then put the new tile and grout in, along with a new shower drain cover.
I live abroad and rent out the unit that he came to fix, so I couldn’t be there to oversee things myself - he was very accommodating to the tenants’ schedules and by the last day he was there, my tenants trusted him so much they left him the keys so he could let himself in and get started before they returned home and even told him to help himself to snacks and drinks if he wanted anything! I feel so lucky to have chosen him for the job.
His prices were also fair and within the range of other competitive quotes I received. In fact, I got a quote from someone else that was a decent amount lower, but didn’t feel confident that he would follow through or be as responsive, so I went with Joao - and I’m so happy I did!
I would highly recommend him and will absolutely be hiring him again for anything I need done at my property in the future.

I had a gentleman named John. He responded very quickly. He came fully prepared for the job, and is very knowledgeable in his trades. He was kind, and explained things so we wouldn’t have further complications. He gave us a quote for the fix, which was a simpler fix. Then we originally thought however, given his immediate attention, it was worth the price. I have seen plumbers charge more for emergencies.
