Elcio was very responsive to all my questions. I had 3 rooms completed and each presented its own issues. He saved me money by coming up with different ways of doing it. Some areas had unforeseen site conditions that had to be left opened until demolition was performed. He was open minded in keeping the project simple. Best thing was he needed no money down to schedule and begin work. Since I was purchasing most of the materials, I was not going to give any contractor a down payment. Yet most competitors requested a down payment. They told me that was normal way of doing business. I said you are not buying the materials so why do you need a deposit. Not Elcio, he completely understood. Would highly recommend American General Floors to everyone. Only improvements I would recommend is Clean Up better and pay a little more attention to minor details like caulking.
