We recently had our hardwood floors sanded and refinished, along with some carpet, tile, and LVP work, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Eric also installed new red oak hardwood flooring in several areas of our home. One of the things we appreciated most was Eric's attention to detail during the staining process. We wanted a custom stain that wasn't as light as white oak but also not too dark, aiming for a warm, medium sand color. I shared a stain combination I liked, and Eric carefully mixed samples and created test boards for us to review. The ability to see and compare samples before making a final decision gave us a lot of confidence. After the stain was applied throughout the house, I initially felt the color looked a little different than I had envisioned. Eric asked me to trust the process, explaining that the final appearance would develop after the top coats were applied. He was absolutely right. After applying multiple finish coats, the color transformed beautifully and ended up being exactly what we were hoping for. The final result is stunning and has completely elevated the look of our home. Eric is extremely knowledgeable and confident in his craft, but at the same time humble, approachable, and easy to work with. He maintained a high level of professionalism throughout the project and worked well alongside the other contractors in our home. The project did take longer than originally anticipated, but quality work takes time, and in the end it was absolutely worth the wait. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and beautiful finished product exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Eric to anyone looking for hardwood floor installation, refinishing, or custom staining. His expertise and commitment to getting the details right truly set him apart.

Spoke with Erick from Empire State Floors about refinishing the wood floors in my Mother's home. He was accommodating with our schedule when I told him we were looking to make a decision promptly and came out that evening so that he could give us a quote. The entire experience was pleasant and I could definitely see using their services in the future.

Erick showed up on time, as promised, and delivered a beautiful finished product for a very reasonable price. His team worked quickly and efficiently and had my floor sanded, as well as stained, in a short time. Erick is quite easy and pleasant to work with. I have other flooring projects to be done and will be hiring Empire State Floors for them.
