The company was responsive throughout the quoting process, arrived on time, and completed the project within the agreed timeframe. Communication before the job was good and scheduling was straightforward. My experience was mixed overall. After an in-person assessment and quote, the price increased by $100 on the day of the job. This may have been due to a misunderstanding, though I also acknowledge that there was a small addition to the scope of the patching work required (closing one medium sizes hole that had not been previously identified). While the finished room definitely looks improved, I was disappointed with the preparation and finishing work. Within a day or two, cracks became visible in some corners where the walls meet. There were also areas that were not properly filled or smoothed before painting, leaving visible pitting and surface imperfections. In addition, some trim paint was left on portions of the ceiling, and I had to purchase additional paint after the job had already started because the new color did not fully cover the existing color. (Given the in person assessment, I was expecting this would have been anticipated and factored in ahead of time.) There are also a few areas where the previous wall color remains faintly visible. Overall, the company was professional in terms of responsiveness, punctuality, and completing the work on schedule, but the quality of the preparation and final finish fell a bit short of my expectations. I do want to add that, due to the time sensitive nature of the job, I was not able to contact Jorge to ask if he would be willing to address the issues and it’s possible he may have offered to do so.
