FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a videographer, it's important for us to be transparent and clear about our pricing structure to build trust with our clients. Here are some key points that customers should know about our pricing: We provide a Base Rate: Our base rate, which typically covers our time, equipment, and basic editing. This is the starting point for all projects. We provide Hourly and Package Pricing: We offer both hourly rates and package pricing. Hourly rates are useful for smaller, shorter projects, while package pricing often includes a set number of hours or services for a fixed fee. For more information, please contact us and we can work out a package deal for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love working with new clients. Working with a new customer we like to ensure clarity, alignment, and a successful collaboration. Here's a typical process: Initial Consultation: we conduct an initial consultation, which can be in person, over the phone, or via zoom. During this meeting, we listen carefully to the client's needs, goals, and vision for the project. We also share information about our services, experience, and portfolio. We discuss budgetary constraints and determine if your services align with their budget. Lastly, we clarify any questions or concerns the client may have. Proposal and Contract: After the initial consultation, we prepare a detailed proposal that outlines the scope of work, project timeline, pricing, and payment terms. Pre-production Planning: Once the contract is signed and a deposit is received, we begin the pre-production phase. This includes: Planning and scheduling the shoot, discussing story board, including dates, locations, and any necessary permits. Production: We execute the shoot according to the agreed-upon plan. This involves capturing video footage and audio and ensuring all necessary shots are obtained. Post-production: After filming is complete, we begin the post-production process, which includes: Editing and assembling the footage. Adding music, sound effects, graphics, and titles. Color correction and audio enhancement. Delivery: We provide the client with the final video files in the specified format(s). We ensure the client is satisfied with the end product. Invoicing and Payment: Once the client is satisfied with the end product, we send the final invoice to the client, including any remaining fees after the deposit.
