I hired David for a small repair and ended up keeping him for three weeks. Best decision I made for this property. The biggest project was a complete laundry room remodel — new tile flooring laid from scratch, a brand new utility sink with full plumbing, drywall sealed behind the washing machines, and new baseboards throughout. The result looks and functions like a completely different space. That alone added serious value to the house. Second was the front entry stairs. Another contractor had quoted me $4,000–$5,000 to redo them. David rebuilt them completely for a fraction of that cost, and they look better than they ever did. Third was the damage around the dishwasher area — water had been leaking for a while and had done real damage to the kitchen cabinets and subfloor. David reconstructed everything, waterproofed the area properly, and even tiled the floor underneath. You'd never know anything had happened. Beyond those three, he replaced all the basement lighting, installed three new doors, repaired basement windows, added electrical outlets, fixed a leaking water valve, painted and refinished all the door frames, and installed a Ring doorbell. The man knows carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing smart home device setup, and painting — and he knows them well. What I value most, though, is his advice. David didn't just fix what I pointed to — he walked the property with me, flagged things I hadn't noticed, and helped me prioritize. Between the quality of his work and the guidance he gave me, I genuinely believe this property gained around $25,000 in value. If you're a homeowner or landlord in New Jersey looking for someone you can actually trust — hire David.

David was extremely helpful in getting my bathtub unclogged. We had been experiencing issues with our primary bathtub draining slowly for some time and have been putting off the repair and when I reached out to David, he showed up on the same day and not only unclogged the bathtub, but also cleaned some of the leftover residue left behind. Grateful to have found David on Thumbtack and will be saving his contact information if I have any other plumbing needs.
