FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very fair, I believe that a dedicated pet owner should have access to acquiring help no matter their financial situation. Many of us today struggle at times financially. I want to help these dogs and owners stay together. Without help some dogs wind up in the shelter system because the owners could not afford the price of a trainer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I enter a new clients home, I have one eye on the dog and one eye on the family. I like to see the dog in his natural environment and how he interacts with his family and with new people in the home. I will see things that I would work on if it was my dog. I however leave it up the the family to tell me what they would like their dog to do differently or not do at all. I will make suggestions to the family and we put a plan together and start working.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a certified dog trainer I am required to earn a minimum of credits each year to maintain my certification. I go to seminars not to just earn credits but to continue learning what new ideas are out there. It is a great way to also talk to other professional trainers and get feed back on tough cases that I may be working on at the time
