About
My dog training began first out of my love for dogs, and for the desire to be able to bring my dog anywhere and know that they would behave.
Then I rescued a "Reactive Dog". All the reading I had done, all the hands on I had practiced, and all the hours of learning beside another trainer I had under my belt were not enough to help this dog.
To help "Bandit" I had to find a better way to train him. All of my training up to this point was correctional training, That was really all that was being taught back then. I researched until I found a professional that had a better way. That professional was Brenda Aloff. I went to her seminars, read all of her books she had written and met with her to discuss the power of positive reinforcement. She set me on fire with what I learned. I was a believer from the second I started using Positive Reinforcement with Bandit.
I have living proof that a dog can and does change from being reactive to being my best friend, one that I can now take anywhere without worries.
I am a certified Positive reinforcement Dog Trainer.
My Certification is with CPDT_KA. Certified Council For Professional Dog Trainers

Nancy is wonderful! She’s dedicated to what she does and shows that she cares about getting you and your pet on the right path. We saw instant progress in our very energetic and sometimes hard headed pit, Jade, as soon as she was introduced to Nancy. Nancy showed a ton of patience for both us and Jade. She’s a straight shooter and really knows what she’s doing. We had homework each week and she was always responsive if we had questions before our next session. I would recommend Nancy to anyone having issues or just looking for some guidance with their furry family member. Thank you Nancy!

I have what I call a wild child less than a year old rescue, Murphy. With Nancys guidance and patience with both me and Murphy in only three visits I have seen wonderful growth and improvement in him. She has great understanding of dogs, and his breed in particular, and guides me in the best way to manage his intelligence and his high energy. It is my hope to have a wonderful dog and friend whom I can enjoy and who will enjoy me. With Nancys help, we are definitely moving in that direction. Without hesitation, I would recommend Nancy Pindilli to anyone who is seeking help in training their dog.

HIRE NANCY!!! Our pup was so spoiled and impulsive—after 4 sessions he is a different dog. Walks are so much more enjoyable and playing fetch is much more fun than chasing the dog for the ball. Nancy has so much knowledge and we love her visits!! Our boy LOVES her!!!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very fair, I believe that a dedicated pet owner should have access to acquiring help no matter their financial situation. Many of us today struggle at times financially. I want to help these dogs and owners stay together. Without help some dogs wind up
in the shelter system because the owners could not afford the price of a trainer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I enter a new clients home, I have one eye on the dog and one eye on the family. I like to see the dog in his natural environment and how he interacts with his family and with new people in the home. I will see things that I would work on if it was my dog. I however leave it up the the family to tell me what they would like their dog to do differently or not do at all. I will make suggestions to the family and we put a plan together and start working.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a certified dog trainer I am required to earn a minimum of credits each year to maintain my certification. I go to seminars not to just earn credits but to continue learning what new ideas are out there. It is a great way to also talk to other professional trainers and get feed back on tough cases that I may be working on at the time
