SafeKeep Movers is a licensed New Jersey moving company based in Ridgewood, serving Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson and Morris counties. NJ Division of Consumer Affairs license 39PM00506100, USDOT 5238520. We are licensed as a Public Mover, which means moving only, no storage, and moves within New Jersey. What happens on every job: a written estimate built from our state filed rate schedule, a numbered inventory you sign before anything leaves the house, every room photographed at both ends before and after, and a tamper evident seal on the truck. Rates are $225 per hour for two movers and a truck, $275 for three movers, $345 for four, with a three hour minimum. Travel time is billed from a filed mileage table rather than by the clock, so it does not move with traffic. Services: local residential moves within New Jersey, packing and unpacking, furniture assembly and disassembly, and heavy or oversized items including pianos, safes and pool tables. General liability of $1,000,000 and cargo coverage of $100,000. Seniors 65 and over, active duty military and veterans receive 10 percent off labor.
