I booked Mark to help with baby proofing my house and getting things set up for our nursery. He put together my crib and glider, installed a wifi monitoring system, secured furniture to the walls, and built a custom gate for the top of the steps. Through every step of the process he has been really easy to work with and very knowledgeable about not only standard handyman/home things, but also child safety and more technical details. He was absolutely amazing and we feel so much more prepared after working with him.

Mark did a great job replacing all of our door handles/hinges/strike plates. He spent the time ensuring all the strikes plates fit perfectly, and even had to chisel out a few areas of the door to fit. We also then hired him to redo our half bath, he did a great job painting, and installing new vanity to ensure it was a great fit. I trust the work that he does and shows up on time. We will definitely call him on our other home improvements!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
On large projects I will often give one price, but if the customer is supplying the materials I will usually insist on hourly since I can’t account for any variables in my pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do an informal home check up with new customers whenever possible. This is a cursory investigation of the home that intends to identify any potential safety issues or preventable component failures.
