Jefferson was a complete professional from beginning to end. His communication was excellent, even when I changed the time at the very last minute. He showed up on time and came prepared with all the necessary tools, and he worked diligently for five straight hours putting together my IKEA furniture - some of which definitely needed his handyman expertise to assemble and/or repair. He was also careful to ensure that he didn't scratch my hardwood floors. Jefferson is polite and professional, and I would definitely hire him again for future assembly needs.
What a fantastic service! We were even missing a part and he went out and got it right away and came back and dealt with the issue. I would totally use the service again I'd recommend him to anybody needing General handyman work. He really cares about quality
Jerome was great. Excellent handyman with a wide variety of skills from furniture assembly to lighting installation.
Ray, did an excellent job assembling furniture, hanging objects, and repairing a closet. He is prompt, courteous and has a background that can handle most of your handyman needs. We will definitely use Ray on future projects.
Seamless process from project request to completion, and great handyman work. What else could you ask for?
I just had to give a review for this young man. I reached out to him to install a wall mount for my plasma television and he was excellent. He was very punctual with his timing and immediately started working on completing the job. We ran into a small hiccup when he noticed that I had steel studs in my wall, but I was very surprised and pleased that he had all the supplies to complete the job that I didn't even know I needed. I will definitely be reaching out to him for all my handyman needs. Excellent Service and affordable!!
Great worker, polite, helpful. Don't have to wait long for an appointment. He put my new bed frame together, and placed the mattress on top. Nice guy. I was very pleased with Gary. He does other kinds of handyman work, as well. He is also very affordable. Tuck his name away, somewhere, in case you need him!
Great handyman! Mr. Baptiste responded to my Thumbtack request very quickly (and was available for the job the same day!), was pleasant to talk to while he was working, and didn't charge me extra even though the lock change he did for me wound up being slightly more difficult than I'd anticipated. I will definitely be in touch with him for future projects.
Travis is a great hire for handyman projects and comes with a buddy to get the job done faster. They even tackled 2 other small projects while they were here too!
Bertie and Travis were great from start to finish in helping me move . Even when the job was more than originally anticipated they kept it professional and courteous from start to end. Would highly recommend!
Jorge was awesome. He was on time, was able to improvise on the spot and even had time to help tackle another need that I had just learned about. He’s a very nice guy as well. Highly recommend for plumbing and other handyman work.
Got two words: Hire Paul! He's professional, does great quality work, and makes sure you are satisfied. His handyman skills are excellent and he charges very fairly for his work.
Almonte was very punctual, professional, responsive and helpful! He got my TV up extremely quickly and even stopped on his way over to pick up a mount for me. Would definitely recommend him and use him again!
I’ve used Kenneth for 2 jobs now and he was an absolute pro. From picture hanging, to tv mounting, to furniture assembly, everything was done punctuality and perfectly. Will definitely continue to use Kenneth in the future for any handyman job.
My partner and I just moved to NJ from NC and had quite a bit of repairs and upgrades we needed to complete on the new home we purchased. One such upgrade was venting the dryer. This home was built in 1892 so needless to say, the original architectural plan did not include a dryer. The previous owners installed a gas line - but where the gas line had to run to attach to the kitchen stove, made for a really poor location in the basement in regards to venting the dryer. Before Nick came, he let me know a price for a best case scenario, which I appreciated because had he named a price over my budget, it would have given us both the opportunity to cancel the estimate so as not to waste time. Nick arrived on-time for the estimate and at first it was pretty tricky to find a solution for venting the dryer without completely tearing up the ceiling and walls. Nick was persistent in finding though and was able to devise a plan of going through an old nonfunctional window that was hidden and covered. I hired him to complete the dryer venting and also uncap the gas line and install a hose in preparation for the dryer installation. On the day of the project, Nick arrived on time (7:30am on a Saturday) It took him about 2.5 hours to complete everything. He did a fantastic job. One strength I want to highlight is that Nick not only gets the job done, and does it well, but also takes pride in the aesthetics of his work. He could have easily vented the dryer in a way that exposed the pipe all the way along the ceiling and through the window, but instead he figured out a way to fish it under the sheet rock for a cleaner look. He also cleaned his work space completely - which I have found to be rare for contractors in this area. I have had many contractors who were ready to walk out the door without cleaning up their mess and would have done so had I not asked them to clean up before they go. I also want to highlight that I had a sewage pipe issue in the basement prior to his dryer venting project. Nick also does plumbing so I called him at 4pm and he was at my house by 8pm. People who who have hired folks for sewage pipe leaks know that cleaning up the sewage is not part of the job. Nick was willing to clean and sanitize on top of snaking the pipes and clearing them of clogs for a reasonable price. Nick has been great to work with and does great work. I have already hired him to take care of some other projects around the house (installing a shower door, clearing debris in the backyard). Glad we found a go-to handyman for our new home!
New go-to handyman in NYC! Matt was on time, extremely flexible with a last minute request, was friendly, and delivers quality work at a reasonable price! Will definitely be sharing with friends!!
Dom was very professional and considered. He completed the job perfectly. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who is in need of a handyman!
This guy is the best. He saved me from a bad installation of my murphy bed (handy.com) The collapsed and could have seriously injured me. I was actually traumatized by that prior experience. Gino listened to my concerns and did the job right. He came back and built the additional console units. He spent the time to complete everything perfectly. He is a handyman you can trust for any project. He's very reasonable and trustworthy. I have other projects in mind and this is the only person I'll be using. You'll want him coming back for more projects too once you see the quality of his work.
Max did a wonderful job and I would hire him for any type of handyman work that I have. Very professional and delivers quality work.
Jim did a couple of handyman projects for us. His pricing is fair and the quality of his work is excellent. He was easy to work with and helpful and honest about the best options to complete our projects. Highly recommended.
Marius hung a swing and installed a sandbox for my kids. He was on time, brought all the necessary tools, and got right to work. He was receptive to my thoughts, careful in his work, and we (especially my kids!) are very pleased! Highly recommend.
