Pen Masonry was a great company for my small job. The owner, Jonte Pender, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the job. He was very attentive to detail which showed he is passionate about his craft. I would absolutely recommend and support him in the future.

Sidewalk blocks are holding up good but I don’t think landscape fabric/barrier was used on the gravel driveway install. We are getting weeds already.

Pen Masonry's reply
Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate it. This project was a top-dressing/regrading of an existing gravel driveway, so the scope of work did not include excavation or installation of landscape fabric beneath the existing stone. Unfortunately, with existing gravel driveways, some weed growth can still occur over time, especially during warmer months. We’re glad to hear the sidewalk blocks are holding up well, and we appreciate the opportunity to complete the work for you.

Jonte did an absolutely amazing job on clearing our weed, prickly infested backyard! Even as it rained, he persevered to complete the job within an alotted timeframe. We will use him again, and our neighbors will use him for their job. Thanks!

Jonte replaced and extended our front patio. He’s meticulous and is very attentive to detail. And he is very fairly priced. We invited him back to crest a garden wall. We highly recommend him.
