- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have no standard pricing because everything that I create is custom and tailored to each client's unique tastes!!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have an initial consultation to discuss the details of their upcoming event. After the first consultation; I will put together a detailed and itemized proposal and email it to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I like to attend as many new design shows as possible. There's always something exciting to learn in this business. Sometimes the instructor might not be the best, but I always make it a point to take away at least one positive thing. I remember years ago taking a design seminar and the speaker was incredibly dull and boring! He stated that he had been in the business for more that 40 years and everyday was a new adventure. He said one thing that has stayed with me all of these years; " If your green you're growing. If your ripe your dead'! Meaning that if you think you know everything about floral design you should get out of the business!
