Ed was great! He was prompt at responding to my emails or thumbtack correspondences. He gave me a written quote that said exact ally what the job entailed with the cost laid out. He showed up on time, was professional, and did a great job on my patio remodel. I will contact him again with other small jobs I have around the house.

I am absolutely blown away by Ed's work. I hired him to replace a heavy wooden gate that was falling apart and scraping badly on the ground every time I opened or closed it. I thought I should just buy a prefabricated gate and have Ed install it, but he mentioned he could build one from scratch of better quality so I figured why not go that route. Well, it exceeded all my expectations and was at a far better price point with materials and labor than what I would've purchased from Lowe's or Home Depot. He listened to exactly what I wanted, built and installed this in just a couple of days, and made sure the gate fit in with the strict HOA requirements in my neighborhood. Ed also came back to ensure the gate was closing and latching properly, replaced some of the hardware that wasn't functioning effectively, and added a rubber stop to the bottom so I don't have to use a rock to prop the gate open anymore. I have worked with a lot of contractors in the past and am pleased to leave such a positive review for Ed, as the quality of his work is far greater than that of other individuals I have worked with. He will not take on a project if it is not something he has the expertise or confidence in, and that trait can sometimes be hard to find in individuals in this line of work. Many people are not honest about their capabilities and will take on jobs even if they have no idea what they are doing, thus leaving you with low quality work that is expensive to replace. It is obvious Ed takes great pride in his work and will not leave a job half-finished or half-assed. I can't express how much this new gate has improved the quality of my life, as it was such a hassle to deal with daily. I truly look forward to working with Ed on the rest of my many household projects.

I TRY TO BE AS REASONABLE AND AFFORDABLE AS I CAN.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All my training and education comes from hands on experience. Been there, done that. I'm willing to take on the toughest of jobs that everyone else passes up.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started very young at the age of 12 helping out my father he was a contractor did many different jobs with him I'm just learned throughout the years that I did my own work. including mechanicing on cars to building houses etc. I also train people to operate heavy equipment.
