FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Whitener Law Firm we make our clients a No-Fee Promise. That means that there is no fee unless the client recovers money for his/her personal injury case. We never get paid unless there is a recovery. If for some reason a clients case results in no recovery, then that is just tough luck for your attorney who will not be getting an attorney fee. This type of attorney-client fee arrangement is known as a contingency fee. The attorney fee is made contingent on there being a recovery in the clients case. This recovery may be in the form of a settlement, judgment or verdict against the negligent party known as the tortfeasor. Whitener Law Firm agrees to work on your case and pursue compensation for your injuries in exchange for a percentage or portion of the recovery. The contingency fee arrangement allows injury victims to get the representation they deserve to fight corporations and insurance companies. Whitener Law Firms contingency fee model allows every New Mexican regardless of race, religion, national origin, gender or age to obtain the highest quality representation without payment of any money out of their pocket to hire their attorney.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I think it is most helpful to discuss the client's case with him/her online to make sure that we are the right fit for the client's case and that the client has the type of case we can help with.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The attorneys at Whitener Law Firm regularly attend classes for Continuing Legal Education. Sometimes this requires that we go out of State to learn about new developments in the law and medical fields.
