when I can I go to contractors conventions to see what is new or innovative.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
This I was born into and still love I make more as a nurse but at times get tired of fixing plumbing at nurses pay and need a change of pace for a while. I still love nursing too and do it with the same attitude I build with.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Anything I feel like that they are willing to pay for. My current goal is to be able to pass much of my knowledge and attitude to my teenage son. Of course he won't be able to be on every job but whatever I can teach him is a plus to him and those around him. I did a lot of work a few yrs ago for new mexico activities association, I designed and built fundraising games that they took around to all tournaments, I did maintenence and repairs on their state owned buildings, as well as painting, landscaping and roof leak repairs, I did repair and maintenance on trailers and bleachers. additionally I do cement work-small jobs only, I do ceramic linoleum tile, build storage buildings and garages, lay brick and cement block. carpentry and drywall, roofing, cleanup and hauling-have a pickup and 20 ft and 6 ft flatbed tlrs.
