- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We train all breeds starting as early as 2 months old. We specialize in puppy-raising including potty training, socialization, manners at home and in public, public access for service dogs and therapy dogs, and beginning to competition level off-leash obedience. Training Packages: Basic Obedience *Starter* Package - One lesson and E-collar for $325 Introduces you to Operant Conditioning, the use of markers, and the E-collar for off-leash control. Each additional lesson is $125 per session. Basic Obedience Package - 4 lessons and E-collar for $650 The E-collar we use has a two year warranty, it is completely waterproof, and has a 1/2 mile range! We will bring this to your first lesson. By the end of this package, your dog will be able to be outside, with distractions, listening on command. Curriculum includes: Come, Sit, Extended Sit, Down, Extended Down, Place, Extended Place, Out, Off, and Loose Leash Walking. Your dog will sit on a specific location that you point to (chair, park bench, etc) until released, and out/drop any item in its mouth immediately. They will walk right beside you on a leash and will not jump on you or anyone else. Extended sit, down, and place means your dog will REMAIN in the down, sit, or place position until you release them. Advanced Obedience Package - 8 lessons and E-collar for $1000 This package is for those who really want their dog to be a ROCK STAR at home and in public!! Some of the advanced commands we can teach you and your dog are: Perfect Off-Leash Recall amid distractions, Stationary position changes from a distance, Heel (they come running and sit beside your left leg), Load into vehicle, Wait to exit vehicle, Through command (go in between your legs and sit down), Backup, Excuse me (move out of the way), Food Refusal, Hold an object gently in their mouth until released, Full submission for nail dremeling, Service and Therapy Dog training, Conformation training, Canine Good Citizen, Canine Good Citizen Advanced and Urban, AKC Trick Dog, and the Perfect Door Routine (go immediately to a specific place at the door when someone is there and stay there quietly until released). Socialization Outings - 4 hrs for $50 We will take your dog out to various public locations with loud noises, many people, new smells and stimuli to build their confidence and desensitize them to the world. We will practice perfect manners and the expectation of being completely calm in all scenarios. Boarding - $50/night We will keep your dog in our home and give them individual time, attention, play, and affection. We can provide any type of specialized care and meet all nutritional needs. Board and Train - $150/night In addition to our receiving our high standard of care during boarding, we will train your dog for at least two hours each day, according to your specific training goals. Ear posting, Nail Dremeling, and regular grooming in included. Dog Walking and In-Home Care - $10/walk and $30/day These services are offered only to existing clients in the 89002 area code. Ear Posting and Nail Dremeling - $20 each American Kennel Club CGC, CGCA, CGC Urban, VHMA, and Trick Dog Title Evaluations - $50 each Ask about our Military/Law Enforcement/Emergency Services discount, and our Multiple Dog discount!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will have a consultation over the phone to assess your needs and goals. Once you have selected a package and completed payment, we will schedule your lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have bred many dogs that are AKC Champions (which proves the quality of their conformance to the breed standard), have AKC titles in Obedience, Herding, Scent Work, FastCat, Dock Diving, and Protections Sports, and are Therapy and Service Dogs for physical and mental disabilities as well. I have earned the prestigious title of Breeder of Merit Bronze by the AKC, I am an AKC Evaluator, and a member of the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals). I am also a member of the AKC Black Mountain Kennel Club.
