- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$56 per hour, plus the $56 drive charge. Jobs within 30 miles one way are 1 hour. With my experience of over 29 years often I can fix a door in 1 to 2 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If they just need a repair we can schedule a service call. If they need a new door or new hardware I like to look at the job first. We could set up a free estimate. I can email a price, then all I need is an Emailed approval to get started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
On the job training, working on several different types of doors. I have taken classes on electric locks and access keypads. When I am working with a new product I check the website familiarize myself with all the options and different functions. I can get technical support from the manufacturer. If I just need to increase my knowledge or check someone else's way of doing it I will watch How To videos on YouTube. I will always be improving and learning.
