Alex was on time. He spent time
explaining the way a piano is tuned and was careful with my Vintage Grand Piano. He was not in a hurry and stuck around for a little while to hear my 90 yr. old mother play a few songs. My mother is happy with the way the Piano sounds and plays. Alex also made an exception to his appointment calendar to schedule me in, because my mother was visiting from California.

I can’t say enough good things about Alex. He responded to my initial inquiry within hours and was able to get me scheduled for an inspection and subsequent service quickly. I have a 1957 Baldwin Acrosonic that I inherited from my great-grandmother, and after a lifetime of military moves and nearly a decade since its last service, I was genuinely nervous about what he might find.
From the moment Alex arrived, he put me at ease. He walked me through everything he was checking, explained what needed attention, and laid out a clear plan to bring this piano back to life. He went above and beyond in every way. He understood its sentimental value and treated it as if it had been part of his own family for generations.

Alex is one of the best piano tuners I have ever done business with. He is very knowledgeable about the inner workings of my Yamaha baby grand piano. He even pointed out what the issue was with my damper pedal that I would not have known unless he showed me. He tuned my piano very well and it’s sounding just like new again. Alex is very talented musician, as well! We enjoyed listening to him play as he was testing his handiwork when he completed the tuning.
Thank you, Alex for your professionalism and courteousness while turning my piano. I will definitely be contacting you again in a year, if not sooner to do more work on my piano. I may take you up on your offer to voice my hammers, as they do need to be worked on eventually to tone down the “brightness” of the sound.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We're here to keep piano tuning & maintenance easy and affordable. Our tuning service for new clients is a flat rate of $200. This includes a pitch raise (necessary if several years have gone by without tuning) and any minor adjustments we may find. We often times can resolve minor repairs such as sticky keys and loose pedals for no additional cost! We also offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and will travel to you within 90 days of your tuning to resolve any issues that may arise.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you reach out to us we will ask you a few small questions about your piano: style, age, last tuning, etc. Then we will work with you to schedule the perfect time for your service. We are open 7 days a week and are committed to meeting your scheduling needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated as a Certified Piano Technician through the Piano Technician Academy and studied directly with an experienced Registered Piano Technician here in Las Vegas.
