Introduction: I am a long time member and teacher of the Alliance Française, of Southern Nevada, a not for profit organization, The Alliance promotes the French language and culture throughout the world, with offices and schools in many countries.
I am known to be a professional and organized instructor. always punctual and flexible with the schedule of my students. I make sure that they have a clear picture and understanding of my instructions.
I work with beginner, intermediary and advanced students.
My teaching is adapted to the students needs and interests; writing, reading, vocabulary, grammar, communications, speaking, literature, culture and French business (les affaires)
Assignments are given at the end of each class. I also provide telephone and online support.
I enjoyed teaching French to groups of students and private lessons. I enjoy adapting myself to so many different personalities of all ages; the beginners to the advanced students. I had the privilege to have long term private students who were so captivated by the French language and the culture, it was a mutually wonderful experience in teaching for me and in learning for them.
My long term student was 11 years old when she started; twice a month of private lessons for two years, and once a month for the next two years. Her last lesson with me, was the week she moved out of town; she was 15 and a half years old. French literature.
was her favorite subject.
Working around my students personalities and interests has been a mutually rewarding experience.
